Easy Ways to make Carrot Cake Bars

Carrot Cake Bars are a delightful way to eat classic carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. 

Soft, moist, & precisely spiced bars make a great snack, breakfast, or dessert.

These rich, fluffy carrot cake bars are packed with spices & fresh carrots. It's easy to make a layered carrot cake into an easy-to-serve sheet cake. 

You can add raisins or walnuts for crunch & texture. Simple carrot cake bars recipe. It's easier than a conventional carrot cake, but the components are the same, so you won't sacrifice taste. 

It's topped with delectable, optional cream cheese icing. Dessert bars are dessert AND breakfast, like my carrot cake loaf. This 15-minute recipe makes 16 bars. 

It's my go-to carrot cake. Mix all dry ingredients except sugars in a bowl. In a separate dish, mix butter & sugars until frothy. Then whisk in eggs & vanilla. 

Beat half of the flour mixture into the wet components. Then whisk in the remaining flour mixture. Mix carefully. Stir shredded carrots. 

Spread the carrots evenly throughout the batter. Bake for 35-40 minutes in a preheated dish. Cool the cake on a wire rack for 5-10 minutes before icing. 

Cream cheese, butter, & vanilla are mixed in a medium basin. Beat 1 cup powdered sugar into cream cheese mixture before adding another. 

Add powdered sugar by the cup, beating & scraping the sides until creamy. If decorating, divide 1/2 cup frosting between two bowls. 

Green, orange. Continue adding drops of colouring until the desired hue is obtained. Fill piping bags with each colour. 

Spread remaining frosting on cake's top. Using piping bags, adorn 16 slices. Pipe squiggly lines or carrots with orange icing. 

Create leaves or your own design with the green. Carrot cake bars retain moisture best at room temperature. 

If you won't eat all the bars right away, leave part of the cake unfrosted. After eating, frost each square.
