More than 4.5 million Americans are bitten by dogs each year, & 800,000 are treated by doctors.

Any dog can bite, but some—especially larger, stronger ones—can cause more damage. Stacker examined ANIMALS 24-7's data on significant dog breed attacks from September 1982 to December 31, 2018 to identify trends.

Only pure dog breeds with 10 or more physical injury attacks were ranked, & ties were broken by fatalities.
